Mission:

Programming is the universal language of the future, and is essential a skill as mathematics, reading, or writing.

Out of The Box endeavors to break the cycle of recidivism through sustainable impact and the creation of pathways forward for incarcerated individuals through education in the new literacies, with a focus on core computer science principles, practicable hard skills, viable pre/post-release opportunities, and the development of a professional network of reentry resources
